Architectural Plans and Planning Support For every house extension and dormer loft conversion, detailed architectural and construction plans are required before we can accurately price or begin the work. If you do not already have suitable plans, we can recommend an independent architect whom we regularly work with. The architect is not employed by Up Close Construction. They will contact you directly, explain their fees and invoice you separately. The completed plans belong to you, and you are under no obligation to appoint us for the building work. Structural Reports and Calculations Where structural information is required, we can recommend an independent structural engineer. The engineer also works directly for you, provides their own quotation and is paid by you separately. Their report belongs to you. Construction by Up Close Construction Once suitable plans, reports and approvals are available, you may ask us to quote for the building work. If appointed, we carry out the agreed construction in accordance with the supplied professional information and applicable approvals. You remain free to obtain quotations from any suitable contractor.
